Description
The Air Venturi MicroStrike PCP Pistol/Carbine is a compact and modular air pressure platform that offers exceptional flexibility. It is designed for users who value efficiency, versatility and reliability — whether for small game, pest control, plinking or precision work. Thanks to its versatile design, the MicroStrike quickly transforms from a handgun to a shoulder carbine without compromising performance.
The MicroStrike is available in three calibres: .177, .22 and .25, each with impressive performance. In .177, it produces a muzzle velocity of up to 900 fps (with 8.4-grain pellets) and approximately 15 ft·lbs of energy. In .22, the velocity drops to approximately 830 fps, with approximately 27 ft·lbs of energy with an 18.13-grain pellet. In .25, the system delivers approximately 735 fps and 30 ft·lbs of energy with a 25.4-grain pellet.
The 80 cc high-pressure cylinder is filled to 4,351 PSI (300 bar), ensuring consistency and power. Per filling, the MicroStrike delivers approximately: 30 rounds in .177, approximately 26 rounds in .22, and approximately 24 rounds in .25, depending on the setting.
The construction is entirely metal and robust, with a compact barrel length and a ½×20 UNF threaded muzzle for a silencer or flash hider. This means the weapon is immediately ready for the installation of a silencer or muzzle device.
Modularity and customisation
One of the MicroStrike's greatest assets is its modulation: the barrel is quickly interchangeable, allowing calibre changes within minutes. The external adjuster of the built-in regulator, together with an adjustable hammer spring, allows the user to fine-tune the air pressure and shot profile — from maximum power to quiet, gas-efficient point-blank shots.
The two-stage adjustable trigger and smooth side lever mechanism enable semi-automatic reloading or rapid follow-up shots, making the MicroStrike not just a recreational pistol, but a functional hunting and power platform.
Ergonomics and compatibility
The MicroStrike comes with a 6-position AR-style folding stock. This allows the user to quickly convert the weapon from compact pistol format to full-fledged carbine. The synchronisation of the buffer tube and stock ensures stable, solid support when shoulder-mounted and using optics.
Thanks to the full Picatinny rail On top of that, mounting a red dot, LPVO or riflescope is easy and stable. For those who prefer to use open sights, the MicroStrike comes standard with adjustable front and rear sights. The ½×20 muzzle allows for a silencer or flash hider.
The magazine capacity is 10 shots (.177 & .22) or 8 rounds (.25), depending on calibre. This makes the MicroStrike suitable for repetitive use without having to constantly reload.
With its total weight of approximately 4.5 lb (≈ 2.04 kg) the weapon feels light yet sturdy — easy to carry, quick to deploy and comfortable during prolonged use.
Atmosphere, commitment and positioning
Strictly speaking, the MicroStrike is not an “entry-level” air rifle; it is a versatile PCP platform that can be used as a compact, lightweight carbine. For pest control, plinking or match training, it offers an exceptional combination of flexibility, power and portability.
With the option to change calibres, an adjustable regulator and hammer spring, plus an adjustable stock and complete rail setup, the MicroStrike is just as accessible to novice PCP shooters as it is appealing to advanced users who want to keep their setup modular.
For those who value mobility, adaptability and performance in a single weapon — or who are simply looking for a compact, capable PCP that performs without compromise — the MicroStrike is a strategic choice.
