Description

The FX DRS MKII Classic Walnut Standard is a powerful compressed air rifle with a traditional design and has been given a nice low profile due to the absence of a compressed air reservoir.

The air reservoir is mounted around the barrel like a barrel sheath, giving the FX a minimalist look with very clean lines. The FX DRS MKII Classic Walnut Standard may be classically lined, but internally it is packed with the latest technology.

Air reservoir in barrel sleeve

The FX DRS MKII Classic Walnut Standard has the compressed air reservoir integrated into the barrel jacket. No more cylinder or bottle under the barrel and this has the advantage that the overall profile of the compressed air rifle has become considerably lower. This gives less obstruction in the shooting position, but also ensures that transport and storage of the FX DRS MKII Classic Walnut Standard require less space. The reservoir capacity is 260 cc.

Adjustable regulator

To make the FX DRS shoot every shot with equal pressure, this compressed air rifle uses an AMP MKII regulator. This regulator is externally adjustable, making it child's play to perfectly match the pressure to the pellet or slug being used. This gives the highest possible purity and guarantees ultimate shot consistency.

Adjustable hammer spring

By removing the stock, the spring preload of the hammer spring can be adjusted. If you give the hammer more spring preload, the valve will stay open longer, allowing a greater amount of air to pass through. Conversely, a lower hammer spring preload gives a shorter passage time. You can experiment with this, so that you keep a driving pressure behind the projectile in the barrel for as long as possible, without creating a disruptive overpressure when leaving the barrel that can cause imbalance.

High Power plenum

FX is known for paying a lot of attention to the plenum. This is the air supply chamber between the regulator and the valve. It houses the portion of regulated compressed air used in its entirety for one projectile. FX has chosen a 25cc plenum as the optimum air supply.

Superior STX running system

The Superior STX barrel system has a removable liner in the barrel that features pulls and pitches pressed in through the outside. This gives the inside of the liner a very smooth surface and nicely flowing pulls and fields. All this ensures minimal drag and a good seal around the pellet or slug. With this MKII version, the liner can be removed and changed without having to release pressure from the surrounding barrel jacket.

Walnut butt

The FX DRS MKII Classic Walnut Standard has a beautiful walnut wood butt, made by renowned Italian company Minelli. Their butts are known for excellent ergonomics and high-quality workmanship. The walnut stock gives the compressed air rifle a stylish look.

Adjustable trigger

To get the very best out of the FX DRS MKII Classic Walnut Standard, it comes with a fully adjustable trigger. This allows you to adjust the trigger exactly the way you want it to feel, so that the feel matches your shooting style exactly. Both the first and second stages are adjustable and the trigger blade is adjustable in distance and height, but can also be rotated for perfect ergonomics.

30 MOA scoperail

A standard mounted 30 MOA Weaver/Picatinny scope rail provides a solid mounting base for a wide choice of rifle scope mounts. Because the rail is tilted forward at 30 MOA, a mounted scope will maintain a greater range of adjustment when shooting at longer distances.

Loading and filling

With the magazine in place, it is simply a matter of pulling back the very smooth tensioning lever on the right side to load the FX DRS through. And to replenish the air supply, there is a filler hole on the right side into which you very easily insert a filler nipple.
