Our journey
Our journey began as The Gearshed, a shop that quickly built a reputation for quality and expertise within the shooting sports community. Over time, the business was acquired and the name was changed to Barrel and Boar. In mid-2024, Kevin Pingen, a passionate entrepreneur and experienced shooter, took over the business and brought a fresh vision with the aim of making shooting sports more accessible, while keeping hunting a prominent place. Under his leadership, we have expanded our range and further optimised our service, while maintaining the familiar atmosphere and personal approach that our customers value.
In our shop, you will find a wide range of weapons, optics, accessories, clothing and maintenance products. From precision air rifles to shotguns and from rifle scopes to high-quality camouflage clothing - we only supply products we stand behind ourselves. Brands such as FX Airguns, Glock, Vortex Optics, Blaser, Weihrauch, RTI Arms, Sauer, Mauser, Gamo, Diana, Hatsan, Umarex, Pulsar, Nocpix, ATN Optics, Hawke and Swarovski are widely represented with us. Both new and second-hand guns are available, and trade-ins are negotiable.

We think with you, test products with you in the shop, and offer expert guidance in choosing the right combination of weapon and optics. Our customers appreciate the accessible atmosphere, our expertise and the fact that we really take our time. We do not believe in quick sales, but in building long-term relationships with people who share our passion.
