Western Mordax - Semi-automatic PCP air pistol with collapsible stock
The Western Mordax is a semi- and fully automatic PCP air pistol with a transformable design that can be easily converted from pistol to carbine configuration. The weapon has an aluminium frame and weighs 1.75 kg. It operates on pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) technology with a maximum filling pressure of 250 bar.
Construction and materials
The frame is made of matt-finished aluminium with a black coating. The collapsible pommel system includes aluminium, carbon and stainless steel components. The SubMOA barrel features single twist technology to improve accuracy. Weighing just 1.75 kg, the weapon remains sturdy yet easily portable.
Application and use
Designed for sport shooting and target practice, the Mordax supports both shooting from pistol and carbine positions thanks to its collapsible pommel system. The semi-automatic operation allows quick follow-up shots. An integrated Picatinny rail allows mounting standard optics for precision shooting.
Integration and compatibility
The pistol runs on compressed air and is equipped with a 90cc air cylinder and a maximum pressure of 250 bar. In calibre .25, it delivers about 30 shots per fill with an energy output of 61 joules. The magazine holds 15 pellets of calibre .25
Maintenance and service life
Two pressure gauges display the pressure in the cylinder and regulator. The adjustable regulator and throttle system require periodic calibration. Regular inspection of the cylinder is recommended when operating at 250 bar pressure level.
