At the heart of the ThOR 6 Elite is a 6th-generation 12 µm VOx focal plane array sensor, available in resolutions of 384 × 288 or 640 × 512 pixels, both with a NETD of ≤ 15 mK.
This sensor provides exceptional detail, making even subtle heat differences visible and targets quickly recognised. Image processing is supported by ATN's SharpIR® AI technology, which sharpens edges, increases contrast and enhances object background separation in real time.
The visual premise is powerful: the built-in 0.49″ OLED-display with 1920×1080 resolution delivers vivid colours and deep blacks, minimising visual fatigue during prolonged use.
The viewer offers six different colour palettes - White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Alarm, Green Hot and Sepia - allowing the user to set the most appropriate contrast for each situation. Additional features such as Picture-in-Picture (PIP) for in-image detail comparison and Hot Point tracking for automatic target marking underline the technical strength of this optic.
Connectivity and recording capabilities make this viewer future-proof: integrated video and audio recording with 64GB of internal storage, Recoil Activated Video (RAV) that records images 10 seconds before and after firing, an internal gallery, WiFi hotspot and the ATN Connect 6 app (iOS & Android) allow you to share or analyse images instantly.
USB-C port for charging and media transfer completes the system.
In terms of precision, the ThOR 6 Elite offers advanced zeroing freeze, multiple ballistic profiles (up to five custom settings) and - only on LRF models - an integrated Laser Rangefinder up to 1000 m with ± 1 m accuracy (905 nm, class 1).
The housing does not disappoint: made of magnesium alloy for optimal strength and heat stability, the viewer is weatherproof to IP67 standard, shockproof to 6,000 J/1,000 g acceleration and designed for use in temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +55 °C. Due to its light weight (average under ±830 g), this scope maintains the right sense of balance on crank, gun or tripod.
