Description

TOGETHER
Have you suffered a tick bite? A tick can infect you with several pathogens, including the bacteria that can cause Lyme disease! Remove the tick easily, safely and quickly with the Care Plus Tick Remover. The tick pen is mainly suitable for adult ticks. Small ticks and nymphs may be too small to be removed by the tick pen.

CHECK YOURSELF FOR TICK BITES!
You can hardly feel a tick bite and therein lies the danger. The quicker the tick is removed, the less likely it is to infect you. Did you spend a day in nature, or did you walk through high grass or low vegetation? Been busy in the garden? Check your whole body for tick bites immediately afterwards.

BENEFITS:
 Clear leaflet
 Includes two alcohol wipes
 Specially developed gripper

Q&A:

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A TICK BITE?
Have you been out in nature? Check yourself carefully for tick bites afterwards! If you find a tick bite, removing the tick quickly, correctly and safely is very important. If you do this within 8 hours of the tick bite, the risk of infection is still small. Only after removing the tick should you disinfect the bite spot with alcohol. Want to know whether the tick carries the bacteria that can cause Lyme disease? Do the Care Plus Tick Test and you will know!

HOW TO RECOGNISE A TICK BITE?
The larva of a tick is smaller than a millimetre and barely visible to the naked eye. Yet it can already bite. So check your body very carefully. After a bite, a red bump often appears. Usually the tick has attached itself well and you can still find it at the place of the bite. The tick may be swollen from sucking blood. Ticks carefully pick a spot to bite. So you may find a tick on your skin that has not yet bitten.

HOW TO PREVENT A TICK BITE?
The tick can infect you with a bacterium that can cause Lyme disease. Preventing being bitten is of course the best thing to do! You can prevent a tick bite by covering your skin as much as possible. Ticks live in low vegetation such as grass and bushes. Therefore, always wear long trousers and tuck your trouser legs into your socks. Use an Anti-Insect product on uncovered skin. Need to protect your feet, ankles and lower legs optimally? Wear Care Plus' impregnated, insect-repellent Bugsox!

WHAT SHOULD I DO FIRST IN CASE OF A TICK BITE?
Remove the tick preferably within 8 hours after the tick bite; then the chance of being infected with pathogens is still small. Only after removing the tick should you disinfect the bite spot with alcohol.
