Description
The FX Pocket Chrono D1 speedometer delivers highly accurate measurements thanks to radar technology. Mounting options are included, which can be attached either to the barrel or on Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail.
This speedometer is an improvement on the FX Pocket Chrono V2, with the biggest difference being immediately noticeable. Namely, the D1 has its own screen, so you only need the speedometer itself to measure your shots. Thus, a separate screen or a smartphone is no longer needed to see the statistics of a shot. At a glance, it shows the speed of the previous shot, up to a speed of up to 1,250 fps (380 m/s). It also offers the ability to show the statistics of an entire series of shots.
Using radar waves to measure the speed of the shots, the accuracy is high. This also makes FX's D1 Pocket Chrono a very useful speedometer in bad weather or poor lighting, as radar waves do not interfere with it. This makes it very suitable in all weather and lighting conditions.
Attaching the D1 can be done very smoothly. Thanks to clever design, the speedometer can simply be inserted into the mounting base and then fixed with a quarter-turn. There are two different mounting bases, which can be used to attach the speedometer to a rifle. A barrel mount is included, while the Weaver/Picatinny mount allows for many other mounting options. A 90-degree angle adapter ensures that it will be highly visible regardless of the mounting point.
The speedometer is rechargeable via USB-C.
