The Woolpower Long John is a unisex, insulating base layer made from Woolpower's own Ullfrotté Original. This is the thinnest variant of Ullfrotté Original. This hard-wearing material consists of Merino wool, polyamide and 'air'. The 'air' is an important component, as it ensures that your body heat is really retained by the leggings. The material has many other advantages, wool, for example, absorbs 30% of its own weight in moisture. For these leggings, that means that when you sweat, wet spots are less likely to occur and it won't smell like sweat any time soon.

The Long John is circularly sewn, meaning the leggings have virtually no seams. The waistband and bottom of the leg are elasticated so that the leggings fit closely to the skin.
