The Leica 50510 Calonox 2 Sight LRF thermal imaging camera is not just another development - it is a true benchmark in terms of design and functionality. Fully designed and made in Germany, it convinces users with its compact, ergonomic shape, practical, intuitive buttons and the world's first fully integrated laser range finder (LRF) of up to 1200 metres, which can be activated very easily - on the device or via optional remote control. The high-quality LYNRED European sensor, together with Leica's proven image processing software (Leica Image Optimisation - LIO), ensures even sharper images, rich in contrast and detail. Moreover, the Calonox 2 Sight LRF no longer needs individual calibration, but can be used out-of-the-box and switched between guns.

Hunters and nature observers can count on natural, sharp and high-contrast images, thanks to the high-quality LYNRED sensor and processing software further refined by Leica (LIO - Leica Image Optimization). Together with a large field of view, objects with the standard size of 1.7 metres can be found clearly up to a distance of 2210 metres. Recognition is possible at 770 metres and reliable identification at 390 metres.

Thanks to high-precision components and an advanced manufacturing process, the Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF arrives precisely centred. As a result, the clip-on camera no longer needs to be individually calibrated, but can be used out-of-the-box and switched between guns. The impact point does not change even if the device is removed and remounted repeatedly.

The Calonox 2 Sight LRF can be used with most commercially available rifle scopes. Combining it with the Leica Fortis 6 1.8-12x42i creates a perfect unit: a compact overall system for night hunting. Mounting is via standard adapters with M43x0.75 threads, which are available for almost all rifle scopes.

The fully integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) can be easily activated via an optional remote control. This remote control can be conveniently attached to the comb or barrel and activates the rangefinder or photo/video function.

Conventional thermal cameras recalibrate themselves periodically with an audible "click" and a frozen frame. Leica Calonox 2 thermal cameras are designed to be "shutterless". Leica software enables silent and instant recalibration - without freezing the image.

Like all Leica products, the Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF is intuitive to operate. A large, sturdy metal control ring turns the device on - and makes it easy to switch from day to night mode. A magnetic locking switch ensures that the device remains switched on during a switchover, saving time.
